How much will it cost?

Writers determine fees in a number of ways. Some use an hourly rate; others may quote a flat fee based on word count, page count, or running time.

The fee can also depend on the kind of project and how it will be used. Writers may reduce their fees or work pro bono to help organizations with important needs and limited budgets.

Before you engage a writer, ask for a written quote that describes the work to be performed, the fee, and the deadline for delivery.

My standard service includes a first draft and one round of revisions, if necessary. I absorb expenses for telecom, research and postage. Work can begin with a signed purchase order and credit approval.
