One little letter can make a big difference.

Billboard for Mayfield Ice CreamI like this board. The message is simple and clear, and the product is tantalizing. I have but one quibble, Mr. Advertiser. Change the word “lovers” to “lover” and you would transform an announcement into a personal message. Speak directly to me, and you make me feel special. When that happens, I am more apt to see your product as special, too.
